Telstra Next G(tm) mobiles to show Olympics live

Telstra and the Seven Media Group today announced a Partnership which will see Telstra become one of the four Partners of the Beijing Olympics, across Seven, SBS and Yahoo!7.

BigPond Group Managing Director, Mr Justin Milne, also announced the Seven Network's Olympic coverage will be streamed live to Telstra Next G™ mobile customers.

"BigPond is delighted to be at the cutting edge with live Olympics coverage.

"BigPond Sport's Next G™ mobile coverage will let you cheer on the Aussies from the bus stop, in a cab, while you are shopping or having lunch in the park," Mr Milne said.

"Telstra's Next G™ network is Australia's largest and fastest national mobile network and it covers 99 per cent of the Australian population. This multi-million dollar deal with the Seven Network and Yahoo!7 will mean more Australians have access to live Games coverage," Mr Milne said.

Pricing for access to the Olympics coverage on Telstra Next G™ mobiles will be announced soon.
