Huawei to Expand GSM Network of Grameenphone in Bangladesh

Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.  has signed a contract with Grameenphone Ltd., the largest mobile operator in Bangladesh and a Telenor subsidiary, for large-scale capacity expansion and enhancement of Next Generation GSM Core and Radio network.  

The Grameenphone contract reflects Huawei's leading position as a network infrastructure supplier and is expected to help Grameenphone meet growing capacity requirements. Huawei's solution will also improve the quality of service experienced by Grameenphone customers and thereby enhance the operator's competitive advantage in the market.
