Asiacell and Nokia Siemens Networks sign 2G network expansion frame contract

 

Nokia Siemens Networks and Asiacell Communication LCC, the first GSM company in Iraq, will extend their cooperation with a multi million dollar frame contract for the Iraqi operator’s  2G network expansion. Nokia Siemens Networks will also continue to provide the local support needed to run Asiacell’s operations in Iraq.

 

With the radio network solutions provided by Nokia Siemens Networks, Asiacell will be able to reduce capital and operational expenditure while maintaining the high reliability of its network. Nokia Siemens Networks' local team in the country will be able to provide Asiacell a stable and reliable nationwide support network.
